About the role:

Our client is a well-established mental health and well-being services in Shrewsbury. With a commitment to providing high-quality well-being services to the local community. The practice provides services as a private practice whilst still providing support to the NHS. Their range of skills enable them to provide an holistic approach to well-being from our understanding and appreciation of needs to the treatments we offer.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday: 05:30-08:00 or 18:30-21:00, which totals 12.5 average hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working in the Shrewsbury area
• Cleaning communal areas
• Properly handle and dispose of waste according to guidelines.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.
• Collaborate with cleaning and staff for a clean environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
