About the role:

The location of the role will be covering various sites in the Oswestry area. Your role will not only be at specific sites but also to provide holiday and sickness cover as required.

Shift Pattern:

This will be Monday to Friday, between the hours of 05:00 – 22:00. This can include evenings and/or mornings. This can also include weekends. (Shifts are to be confirmed upon interview)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working in the Oswestry area.
• Cleaning communal areas
• Properly handle and dispose of waste according to guidelines.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.
• Collaborate with cleaning and staff for a clean environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
