About the role:

Due to high demand, we are looking for a skilled Mobile Cleaning Operative to join the team and work across multiple sites across the Stafford area. The successful applicant must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, milage expensed at 30p per mile.

Shift Pattern:

This will be a flexible role, which varies between Monday to Friday, between the hours of 06:00 – 21:00. This can include evenings and/or mornings. Working hours may vary to 20 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working across multiple sites across Stafford area.
• Cleaning communal areas
• Properly handle and dispose of waste according to guidelines.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.
• Collaborate with cleaning and staff for a clean environment.
• Use of own vehicle, mileage to be paid at 30p per mile.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to vehicle
• Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
